Medicaid For VA Residents - Cutbacks on Incontinence Supplies - July 1, 2010
Jun 28 2010 04:57 PM Virginia State Medicaid will cut 3 cases to 1 case cause of their budget cutbacks. This will cause medicaid residents to end up buying their extra 2 cases. They will only give residents 1 case per month and 1 of everything else. That will be the maximum of 100 briefs per person. And I know patients, residents, and loved ones go through more than 1 case. This is very sad news. Now people have to pay for extra case out of their own pocket not to mention sales tax and extra shipping. |
