Protection from Bleeding Hemorrhoids
Feb 01 2012 02:30 PM I am looking for a product to protect underware from occasional blood and from the staining by Hemorrhoid Creams and Cortisone. I have been using regular pads by reversing them, but they really are uncomfortable and bulky that way. What would be great is a thinner pad designed to be worn in fasion described. |

RE: Protection from Bleeding Hemorrhoids
Feb 01 2012 09:26 PM Last November I had a medical situation too complex to describe here. Suffice to say that it has caused me to bleed profusely ever since. The Depend Men's Underwear work well for me; I would be using a gallon of Clorox every month if I continued using washables. One solace is that, if you lose enough blood, you do not need to worry about high blood pressure. Good luck. |

RE: Protection from Bleeding Hemorrhoids
Feb 09 2012 04:11 PM You're not alone. I deal with periodic pruritis and the hemorrhoid problem. To me it seemed that the shields would never be comfortable to use that way because they weren't designed to cover that area. My thought was that they would bunch-up in, or travel to, uncomfortable places. So I have used the pull-ups from the beginning. I have found that the comfort leads to being more relaxed and the problem(s) clearing up faster. |
