Sep 01 2010 09:31 PM When I have gotten sick with a cold, I find that I have problems. I also have OAB, urge incontinence, and it does get much worse. I just can't hold it hardly at all; I am almost completely incontinent. I think it is because my strength is so sapped from my body trying to heal, it takes away most of my muscle strength. I have had a few occasions thet I have been so sick, that I was both bladder and bowel incontinent. So, I personally think your thoughts are valid. |

Sep 05 2010 11:46 AM When I am sick I always have more urinary incont. I wonder if it is your body producing more urine in an effort to "clean out" your system. I also drink a lot of fluids when I am sick also to help prevent dehydration. Hope this helps. |
