Issue With Daughter's Self-Confidence
Sep 10 2011 09:53 PM My daughter has recently undergone a colectomy and reconstructive surgery. She is currently wearing Depends, but with today's fashions, the "low rise" jeans expose the high waistband of the undergarment. I can't seem to find any "low rise" depends on the website and was hoping there was an a solution someone else here has stumbled across. Thank you in advance for your replies. |

RE: Issue With Daughter's Self-Confidence
Sep 11 2011 12:03 PM Alas, The Depend we wear has never been made fashionable but there is at least one idea you may try. If the fit of what i'm guessing is the Depend Maximum or even the Pull Up [Protective Underwear] is peaking out you might need simply make a inside fold of the waistband to lower the excess material. The fold I spoke of is made by folding down about 1 inch of the waistband from the outside to the inside of the product. If the product your using is skin tight you might go to the next size up unless your using the large where you may need to fold less down to make the fit, fit. I hope this works for you as at times I do the same "trick" when I'm on usher duty at my church to hault any peak a boo's while I'm working. All The Best, Earl H. |
