Not for me they haven't. I use Tena Supers, they are cloth backed, and it is a rare event for me to get a rash, but I don't push it past 3-4 hours max, mostly when I am out around town. The longer you are wet, the more likelyhood a rash will develop, change as soon as possible is best, Puffy

I have not noticed more rashes inside the product, but I can not wear them regularly because the cloth-like material chafes my inner thighs terribly. For that reason I almost always use plastic backed products.
