Hi. I was wondering what kind of wipes everone uses with changeing?? Baby wipes like huggies or pampers or other wipes like cottonel or always.. thanks

Jan 17 2011 05:34 PM I buy the Cottonelle Fresh flushable wipes at Discount Drug Mart. They are under $5 for 140 of them. If anyone has a place for flushable wipes that are less expensive let us know. Thanks! |

Jan 19 2011 11:35 PM I am a guy but I was looking at this message board just to see if there was any tips I could use. But I have some in put for this topic I use Baby wipes Huggies and pampers what ever is cheaper at that time because they are cheaper then the Adult ones and you get more of the wipes in a pack so you get more and pay less and they all do the same thing... |

Jan 20 2011 09:57 PM Are the baby wipes the flushable ones, or do just dispose of them in the trash? i think the flushable ones are more expensive. I sure don't want to clog our septic with the flushable wipes. Has anyone ever had problems from using the flushable ones? |

Jan 21 2011 03:31 AM dispose of them in the diaper put the dirty wipes in the diaper and roll it up. just like when you change a baby diaper same thing.. |

Jan 26 2011 02:55 PM My local CVS pharmacy carries a store-brand item, which is supposed to be like Huggies or Pampers for sensitive skin, that comes in travel-size pouches and pop-up containers. They're less expensive than the brand-name products are at regular price, and CVS often has sales or coupons that help lower the cost even more. Moreover, they are unscented and very kind for those of us who have sensitive skin. These wipes are not flushable. Walgreens has it's own brand of flushable wipes, which are o.k., but I still prefer the CVS wipes for sensitive skin. If your skin is really irritated or sensitive, there are some slightly-costly disposable washcloths (about $11-12 for 32) called Comfort Shield Incontinence Care Washcloths, which leave a layer of a clear skin protectant called dimethicone on your skin when it dries. These washcloths are quite large and thick and are not like regular baby-wipes. They come in a gray plastic container, and I have found them in the incontinence care section at drugstores or large chain stores. I have also found them online, which can sometimes be cheaper and more convenient. I'm a younger person who has dealt with bladder issues for quite a long time, and I've tried a lot of different products over the years. So, I hope sharing my experience helps someone else. |

Jan 27 2011 10:04 PM Here in Pa at my local Medical supply store i buy the Adult sized wipes made by "Attends" for 5.00$ a tub and i think it has 96 wipes per tub,which for me is a fair price considering the cost and size of baby wipes, 1 adult wipe vs 2 or 3 of those little ones, plus it's less waste put into our landfills left for our children and its less trees cutdown to make this stuff and less plastic made from oil that we pay out the yang yang for, so i do not have children but for those of you who do ,I'm doing my part in little ways to leave them a better planet. |

Aug 13 2011 05:04 PM I use CVS wipes from the pharmacy. They are like 1.49 for 40 of them. I am constantly on the go and I take them everywhere with me. I have one pkg in my drawstring back pack with my diapers and I have one in my school back pack for when I'm in class. I have bowel incontinence quite often and only use about 4 at a time. They get me good and clean. I do like was mentioned before and just roll them up in the diaper. Then I throw the diaper away. The CVS wipes are pretty cheap and they are travel sized. |
