DIAPER BAG?

I used to carry my supplies in a backpack; but ever since the terrorist attack in Boston, I want something a little more discreet. What about a laptop/messenger bag? I looked at diaper bags but they look like what they are...diaper bags for babies. Forget that! What can you recommend?
