Please help give me some advice in caring for my Fiancee with incontinence issues

To save on washing sheets my husband recommends that you use pads such as the extra large Assurance under pads (30x36) on top of a washable cloth under pad. I use two disposable under pads at a time to cover more of the bed. I have also seen these used as a diaper in one of the hospitals, but I was not that crazy about the idea. If she is totally bed ridden I would recommend you also use Assurance Briefs as they are easier to put on and remove while in bed. If she is out of bed I strongly recommend the Depends underwear, possibly with a Poise pad added for extra absorption. I assume that when you change her in bed you roll her. If this is the case you will find that you can roll her onto one side, undo the brief, wash her with either disposable Comfort Bath Washcloths (microwaveable to heat them) or Medline Ready Bath Select cloths, roll the dirty pad up to her, place a clean rolled up pad next to her, roller her to the other side, wash her again, remove the soiled articles, roll the clean pads out, place a rolled clean brief next to her, roll her back to her other side, pull and unroll the clean brief, and finally attach the brief. If you put a nightgown on her you have the extra steps of removing and replacing that. This is the steps my husband was taught be the hospital when I was discharged.
