Using Baby Diapers

I've heard about using baby diapers as stuffers and boosters so many times that I finally realized that I'd never done it. It sounded like a good idea, so I picked some up. As boosters, they work great. I punctured the backing a few times and they did a nice job inside my normal diaper. When I used them as stuffers, without puncturing the backing, I learned they move around too much to really act as a liner that I can just pull out and replace. And that should have been my first clue to not use them as pads. I had a pretty major leak yesterday, which not only soaked my pants, but my socks as well. (I was at home, thankfully.) Without anything to hold the diaper in place, it gets all twisted up and becomes ineffective. But that's okay, because I don't think I'll be buying any more baby diapers. I can't find any without cartoon characters or Muppets on them and I just don't feel right about it. I know it's dumb, and no one but me will see them (I hope) but it just feels wrong. So that was my experiment with baby diapers, Maybe if I can find some without any characters on them I'll keep experimenting. Maybe not. -RMS
